The Team:

The Applications Delivery team are part of the wider Delivery and Operations function and work closely with other teams across the IT department.

As an active key member of this team, you will be working within teams and projects to deliver and provide "end user" quality support for IT database systems, products and applications utilized by Eversheds in support of their business.

Key responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include working in a business team to help with various historical systems

  • Good knowledge of IT Systems, cloud based and on premise
  • Azure experience across key areas for PAAS solutions.
  • Experience of supporting server side applications.
  • Administrator key integrations with core systems.
  • Attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
  • Third line support for all core applications on premise and SAAS solutions
  • Working collaboratively with other international operations teams with a focus on prompt delivery in a rapidly changing environment
  • Technology and system innovation to ensure current systems are kept up-to-date and within software and hardware supported guideline

Skills and experience:

The skills required to fulfil this position include:

  • Experience of Cloud technology, SAAS, PAAS, Microsoft Azure.
  • Azure Cloud knowledge, Backups, ADF, terraform etc
  • Ability to query databases using T-SQL and troubleshooting scripting issues
  • Experience with integrations with applications, using API or 3rd party tools.
  • Basic understanding and use of PowerShell
  • Understanding of change control processes, ideally exposure to ITIL
