The Team

 

The Environmental Sustainability, Health and Safety team is based across multiple offices and works within the Property and Facilities Team, to ensure a healthy, safety and sustainable working environment.

Reporting to the Head of Environmental Sustainability, Health and Safety this role focuses on supporting environmental sustainability throughout our International offices

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Collate, categorise and analyse environmental data for Scopes 1, 2 and 3
  • Have an understanding of carbon reduction trajectories, Science Based Targets, Net Zero and ESG
  • Use supplier data platforms to upload data and calculate the firm’s carbon footprint
  • Extract relevant information and contribute to client pitches
  • Work with external consultants to verify environmental data and validate processes
  • Knowledge and experience of completing mandatory and voluntary submissions such as CDP, SECR, TCFD and Ecovadis
  • Work with colleagues in International offices to obtain data and embed the firm’s sustainability strategy
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance and ISO14001
  • Organise calendar events such as World Environment Day and work with charity partners
  • Contribute to award submissions and memberships
  • Promote the firm’s biodiversity strategy
  • Knowledge of sustainability/environmental legislation is essential.
  • Knowledge and experience of calculating a carbon footprint is essential.
  • Competence in Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, is essential.
  • Given the nature of the role, fluency in a second language would be an advantage but not a necessity.
