The Role:

The Digital Experience Manager will be working in the Digital Team with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and wider Communications, Brand, Marketing, and Business Development teams to provide oversight of and expertise toward user experience and interface for public-facing digital properties across Eversheds Sutherland’s global operations. The role can be based in either the firm’s Leeds or Birmingham offices; however, consideration in other locations may be given for the right candidate.

In this role you will act as a strategic business partner who is able to demonstrate more than just strong website, mobile, email, UX and design skills, we’re looking for someone who can innovate and put forward ideas that will help change the shape of our digital offering. This role will be accountable for the firm’s portfolio of digital marketing tools, platforms, and properties, as well as both the internal and external user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) for the portfolio. Working with the digital team to implement the Eversheds Sutherland digital strategy driving brand awareness and engagement, you will also help position client-centric content for both internal and external use that meets worldwide web accessibility standards.

 Key responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead projects and produce high-class content to work on web, email and mobile – examples include creating specialized digital experiences (e.g., web pages, microsites, apps) supporting the firm’s global campaigns and other key initiatives driven by the firm’s sectors and groups
  • Provide advice and guidance on best practice around web, email and mobile design to our expert legal teams and business services professionals at all levels across the organisation – particularly how marketing colleagues directly use digital tools to create branded experiences for client development
  • Ownership (i.e., platform evaluation, procurement, maintenance, development and training) of our key digital creative tools (e.g, Foleon, Zmags, Ceros, or equivalent tools) and digital brand guidelines
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within their day to day creative processes
  • Responsible for ensuring that our digital communications comply with worldwide accessibility standards, collaborating with external and other internal accessibility experts and working groups, as well as using tools (e.g., Siteimprove) to monitor and adjust accordingly
