The main purpose of this role is;

  • SME providing L2/L3 support across the breadth of services that Identity & Messaging are custodians. Including but not limited to; Microsoft O365 and Azure environments, tenants and cloud, Intune (MDM), SharePoint, Teams, Exchange (On Premises and Online), Certificate management, PowerShell, Access management and authentication. 
  • To ensure that the Messaging & Identity team provides quality, secure and reliable IT services to the business and clients.
  • To make recommendations to the Manager of Identity & Messaging – Delivery & Operations - regarding items necessary to maintain or enhance current service standards.
  • To develop and deliver a robust and effective technical platform which aligns to business strategy and IT architecture roadmap.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the performance and availability of Eversheds Sutherland’s IT platforms fully support the needs of the business and its clients and are kept at an appropriate level and in line with changes in technology.
  • Ensure that all Messaging & Identity systems services are monitored and maintained to high levels of quality, as defined within negotiated and agreed service level agreements, parameters or contracts, and in accordance with industry standard best practice.
  • Ensure all services are configured to meet service level agreements and designed to meet disaster recovery and cyber threat principles
  • Take a proactive approach in identifying future trends and issues and assist in the development of new or amended services accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other internal IT teams to enhance overall experience of services.
  • Develop relationships with 3rd party providers
  • Continue to evolve current services, striving for excellence and driving efficiency.
