The Team

The Eversheds Sutherland Professional Knowledge Team (PKT) is a dedicated team of over 30 knowledge professionals, professional support lawyers and paralegals. The team support the business in all areas of knowledge, including research support, current awareness, training, intranet development, resource and subscription management, precedents, guidance notes, know-how and supporting clients with training and knowledge services.

The Client Knowledge Team is part of the PKT with responsibility for delivering products and services that provide value added products and services for clients. Such products showcase our lawyer’s expertise through our horizon scanning and client training reports that are tailored to the needs of a specific client.

In addition, Client Knowledge contributes on a range of key strategic projects. Such projects include supporting the content strategy, sector work, our key client programme and our global campaigns. We work with BD & marketing, our professional support lawyers, client service teams, comms & brand, and the clients directly.

The Role

As knowledge coordinator a key part to your role is to upload, store and review the content we receive for the horizon scanning reports, keep our records up-to-date and manage report deadlines. This role is critical to the successful and smooth running of the services we provide to Eversheds Sutherland clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support to the client knowledge team
  • Manage client knowledge intranet pages
  • Prioritisation, management and distribution of client facing knowledge products
  • Support the build of tailored client training and horizon scanning reports
  • Content management
  • Develop detailed knowledge of our key accounts
  • Project work and other tasks as required

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent organisational and diary management skills
  • Customer service skills
  • A high level of IT literacy
  • Time management skills
  • Enjoy working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 Experience in the legal and/or commercial sector is preferable but is not essential as full training will be provided.
