A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Team Leader to join the International Operations team reporting into the HR Service Excellence Manager. This is a hybrid role, with a current requirement of working 2 days on site in the Birmingham Office based in the city centre.

Description:
The role of the HR Support Team Leader will be to drive customer excellence and data accuracy within the HR Support Team, ensuring key deliverables are met. Having experience working within a HR Service Function, you will have strong experience of HR Systems, policy and processes. You will also provide direct line management to 2-4 team members.

Key responsibilities:
You’ll be working on a variety of HR Team Leader activities which will include and not be limited to:

  • Oversee and monitor the internal ticketing system, ensuring high priority tickets are actioned in a timely manner
  • Delegating tasks to team members and supporting team members with prioritisation
  • Producing weekly reports to support the business and HR Management Team
  • Direct line management 2-4 team members, with scope to increase as the HR Support Team develops and grows
  • Ensuring BAU tasks are processed in a timely manner, ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new joiners
  • Ensuring new joiners are added to the internal HR system promptly and with 100% data accuracy
  • Quality checking HR Administrators data entry and providing team members with real time constructive feedback
  • Upskilling and coaching team members to deliver a customer centric HR service
  • Investigation escalation and queries as required
  • Responding to queries and requests as required 

Skills and experience:

  • Attention to detail is a key fundamental part of this role, with the ability to prioritise and manage high volumes of work, maintain quality and accuracy and provide excellent service delivery
  • Ability to manage own time effectively

  • Able to put the employee experience at the heart of all tasks
  • Fantastic organisational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proactive, willing to challenge and have the confidence to identify and recommend changes and improvements
  • Experience of working in a fast paced team, ideally globally
  • Sound experience of working within a high volume recruitment or administration team
  • Excellent administrative and communication skills, including high quality of written English
  • Ability to think on your feet and look for solutions to challenges
  • An understanding of HR processes is a distinct advantage
  • Good IT and keyboard skills; in particular, good working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Experience of working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and/or with SAP is desirable
