Eversheds Sutherlands’ Employment Law team is one of the largest in the world. Role and key responsibilities

The role will support the International Employment team. You will be an integral client facing member of the Client Service Teams for key clients, providing support on chargeable multi-jurisdictional projects and client relationship management and controlling significant amounts of revenue firm wide. You will build strong relationships with lawyers across our international network.

  • Client facing engagement to support the management of large client relationships;
  • Support on international and UK based chargeable projects and advice;
  • Building, management, development and running of global employment helplines for key clients and liaising with international lawyers;
  • Coordination and facilitation of international client training both in-person and virtual;
  • Organisation of international business development events;
  • Support on development of international marketing tools;
  • Management of international billing processes for key client relationships, including development of client protocols, management of e-billing platforms and internal & external revenue management;
  • Matter management and client reporting;
  • Producing and analysing metrics reports and presenting these to clients;
  • Providing training for new legal advisors and new countries on client protocols.

 

Skills and experience

You should be a graduate, ideally with an LPC, or ILEX, ideally with work experience in a legal environment. Whilst

you may not have previous employment law knowledge, you should be used liaising with clients with professional and

confident communication skills, and have been in a position where you have had to give pragmatic and solutions

based advice to clients.

You should have been working in an environment where meticulous attention to detail is a priority as well as

demonstrating the management of complex processes and contribution towards their improvement. 

Excellent client engagement and IT skills are also required. 

With proven organisational ability and tenacity to see matter through to the right conclusion, you will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to maintain attention to detail at all times. You'll also be have the ability to work closely alongside our international team and the lead partners but also more widely within a local and national team.
