Our London Payments team as part of the Company Commercial Practice Group acts for high profile clients on a domestic and international level. We advise on payment systems, regulation and mobile payments, providing advice to banks, building societies, card issuers, payment providers and IT framework providers.

We undertake a variety of regulatory, transactional and remediation & design of payment products, merchant acquiring, and advising on payment schemes and payment and settlement systems. Our clients include banks, fintechs, payment processors, retailers and payment systems operators at a time of significant innovation and change across the sector. This often involves us working with colleagues who are payments specialists across our network in the US, Western Europe, the Baltics, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

 We are now looking for an experienced lawyer – of around 2 to 4 years’ PQE - gained either in private practice or in-house with a bank or payments business, to join our team in London.
